## WHAT IS IT?

This is a first-try model (ever) for a project I'm working on. The set up is essentially an evil bully bunny straight out of Monty Python decides one day to wreak havoc on a middle-school, bullying them all to death. The idea is grim, but no less grim than the reality of bullying and the harsh reprecussions of those actions. I wanted to dabble in coding, which I took liberally from wolf predation models, zombie models, and alot of hard looks at the netlogo dictionary and tutorials.

## WHAT AM I LOOKING AT?

All of the students have x amount of random starting energy (5 at the moment). As you press the "go" command, the evil bunny starts attacking students, stealing 1 energy point from them as he interacts. The students, by comparison, run away as best they can, but since they are all pacifistic sheep in this model, the all clearly do not survive.

## END RESULT?

Hard to say - In the end, running long enough, the students all have their energy stolen and commit suicide, becoming ghosts or disappearing depending on the settings used for visual effect. One interesting this of note, is that if cornered, with no where to go, the bunny feasts for several moments, and consumes sometimes more than one student. With the slider all the way to full visibility, the chase becomes a crazy mess of at times 10's of students running in herds away fromt he bunny, while the bunny takes shots at one or two students clear across the map. Really fun to make work in the way it did, but again, first model, and isn't as helpful as I might like it to be. Perhaps with some tweaking I can get a good experiment out of it. It is only particularly useful at the moment to watch an evil bunny wreak havoc.

## WHY DO IT?

I'm trying to eventually model a bullying behavior that is outside of what traditional bullying in schools has been branded as - such as just bad kids being bad kids, or issues with authority and rule beaking, and even popularity gains. There is a deeper idea that there are reasons to bully that come from events and issues that are not representative of those necessarily. It's tough, I realize, but it's my first model and first experiment. Feel free to contact with any thoughts or insight.
